Renewal of the Kamsar Donsé Fanyi group’s body: a glimmer of
hope for the promotion of local products

For its competitiveness and legal guarantee, the Kamsar local products processing group located in Kastry in the district of Kamakoulou, has elected its new board. It was on the occasion of its first general assembly in the presence of the local authorities (commune and district).
The Kamsar Donsé Fanyi group was set up by the NGO KDF through its ASAN project financed by the ALCOA FOUNDATION.
On the occasion of this general assembly, the members of the group
did not lack praise for their partners (KDF and ALCOA FOUNDATION). After the presentation of the activities, Salematou
Keita, supported the impact of local product processing activities on
their daily lives. “We have a lot in this project. We went to Kindia to
be inspired by other women entrepreneurs who are working in the
same field. Today, our activities are going well. And, we manage to support the family with it. We can only encourage others to follow
suit.”

For her part, Aicha Sylla, secretary in charge of information and
social affairs, is also satisfied with their activities. “We will advocate
for teamwork because it is unity that makes strength.”. We will
consider them already passing for better results in the future.”
