Located in Kaniadi under the washing district (rural commune of Sangaredi), the agri-food processing group set up by the NGO KDF under the funding of the ALCOA Foundation, met on February 27,

With the support of its technical partner, the
Sangaredi Donsé Fanyi
group held its first ordinary
and elective general
assembly. The objective is to
enable the group to comply
with the principle described in
the statutes and internal
regulations in order to renew
its approval. On this
occasion, the members took
stock of the activities since
2022, and the financial report.According to Lamarana Bah, secretary in charge of information and social affairs, “this meeting is a moment to present the activities carried out, to learn from the past in order to project ourselves into the future”.
The group’s body has been renewed. The new members, composed of five people (all women), have been chosen.
A glimmer of satisfaction was felt among the participants. This is the case of Djariatou DIALLO, incoming president, "we are very happy given the
knowledge acquired and the benefits we derive from the activities. We have understood that it is possible to make money to take care of our families and children but also to help the population of Sangarédi but also to finance the schooling of the children.
Before closing the session, the women thanked their technical (KDF) and financial partner (ACOA Foundation) before promising to work for the sustainability of the activities.
