KDF welcomes its Summer 2022 intern _A note from our intern

My name is Alassane Djibo Zouladeini. I’m in my fourth year of medical studies at Kofi Annan University in Guinea. On August 15, 2022, I began my one month internship at KDF. During the internship, I accompany the Director of the organization and assist with everything she does. Additional activities include following the roadmap provided to me by the coordinator when I initially arrived.
From the first days of the internship, I work on and maintain the moringa and soursop nurseries, among others. Under the Director’s initiative, we also educate the children of the neighborhood – who are on summer vacation – about the benefits of recycling. Together, we made nurseries to help the children connect with nature and to understand the importance of nurseries that later become fruit trees, useful for nutrition. In return for their participation and enthusiasm, we offer the children small gifts. I really appreciate the opportunity to teach and pass on my knowledge to the youth. Throughout this internship, I am inspired by KDF’s know-how and experience in agri-food processing and production. – Alassane Zouladeini
