Capacity building of women from three groups on the marketing approach for processed products
From August 7 to August 12, 2025
Revitalizing groups and increasing their revenues are among the objectives of KDF and its financial partner FONDATION ALCOA as part of the ASAN project, implemented in Kolabui, Kamsar, and Sangaredi. For a duration of six days, including two days per processing unit, forty-one (41) women attended training on marketing approaches for processed products. This training follows the start of marketing activities in the various markets of the municipalities of Kolaboui, Kamsar, and Sangaredi. It has therefore enabled the women to develop strategies for their activities and to build customer loyalty through knowledge and identification of competition in their sectors.
This is the case of Bintya Camara, a member of the Kolaboui Donse Fanyi group: “Through this training, we received strategies that we have never applied in our marketing activities. The 5Ps of marketing are well mastered. This helps to improve the lives of our families. “At the end of the training, Diarriatou Diallo, vice-president of the Sangaredi Donse fanyi group, emphasizes the good conduct of a seller for a successful sale: “the behavior of the seller is very important for making products acceptable to consumers.
We need to know our products, be able to communicate about the products, and reassure customers about the quality and importance of buying our products. “
